Cessnock City Council Audit

Cessnock City Council governs a large regional area of about 1,966 km² in the Hunter Valley, NSW, and is home to around 67,000 residents. The LGA includes a wide range of community facilities such as parks, playgrounds, sports fields, swimming pools, libraries, and cultural and recreational spaces that support active and connected local communities.

In partnership with Otium Planning, we carried out comprehensive accessibility audits of all public amenities, creating a clear snapshot of accessibility across the LGA including parks, community centres, and public toilets. Highlighting key areas for improvements, our detailed reports included practical recommendations to assist council to prioritise upgrades and allocate resources effectively.

This large-scale, multi-site audit demonstrates our ability to deliver complex audit projects across diverse community building portfolios, supporting Council’s commitment to more inclusive and accessible public spaces.
