Gugan Gulwan Youth Centre

The Gugan Gulwan Youth Centre is a purpose-built, culturally led, award-winning space. Designed to reflect and uphold Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander identities and connection to Country, the building incorporates light-filled flexible community spaces, private gathering areas, and interpretive artwork and storytelling. The facility integrates sustainable design features and has achieved level-5 Green Star certification.

As access consultants, our focus was to ensure accessibility was integrated seamlessly throughout the development. Close collaboration and coordination with the project team resulted in a truly unique building that effortlessly balances accessibility, sustainability, and cultural celebration providing an inclusive and culturally safe place to connect.
